Carol Dimoff

Office Manager
Carol has a BS in Social Work and is working toward her master’s degree in Family & Marriage Counseling from Liberty University. During her twenty-one years working in community mental health, addictions intervention and prevention; Carol had the opportunity to work with local schools and universities in different capacities from teaching prevention classes to developing policy. As Executive Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Marion County, Carol provided before and after school programs in six elementary schools. Additionally, Carol worked seven years with a large Ohio online charter school providing administrative support to senior level management including the Board of Directors and worked closely with the sponsor organization to provide accurate and timely compliance reporting. When not at work, Carol enjoys traveling, spending time with her children/grandchildren, and volunteering. EMAIL

Dan Lamb

Treasurer Dan is a licensed school treasurer who brings more than 10 years of financial experience in public education.  He serves as a fiscal officer for numerous charter schools throughout the state.  He provides a hands-on approach to helping schools manage their financial operations to ensure that they are in a sound, fiscal position. Prior to working in Ohio’s education arena, Dan held several positions in financial services.  When not crunching numbers, Dan enjoys playing UNO with his daughter or a game of one-on-one basketball with his son. Kara Kimes

Treasurer Kara holds BA degrees in Accounting and Business from Muskingum University and a Master’s of Divinity from Louisville Seminary. She has several years of accounting and payroll experience working in the private sector. Prior to joining CSS, Kara served as an Auditor with the Auditor of State’s Office. In her spare time, Kara enjoys dirt track racing with her dad, hiking with her dogs, and serving on work mission trips. EMAIL

Lisa Biederman

Assistant Treasurer Lisa has served in education for 23 years.  Her experience ranges from classroom aide, state software consultant to treasury services.  Lisa taught students, trained educators, worked with budgets, personnel, payroll and all aspects of the financial procedures.  This broad range of experience has given her a rounded view of the entire education process.   It is that experience that enables Lisa to serve the fiscal service team at Charter School Specialists.  Lisa’s 3 teenagers help keep life balanced and physically active.   EMAIL

Kim Dunlap

Fiscal Support Specialist Kim’s twenty-four-year accounting career, including seven years with a large Ohio charter e-school, serves as a solid foundation for her role at Charter School Specialists. Her experience includes budgeting, account reconciliations, implementing new accounting systems, developing internal controls and procedures, payroll, preparing financial statements and tax returns, and accounts receivable/payable. Kim has excellent team building and customer service skills play an important role in the support of schools that rely on CSS for treasurer/fiscal services.  During her spare time, Kim can either be found at the gym or spending time with her grandchildren. Nannette Sherman

Director of Federal Programs Nannette has been an educator since 1985. She holds her Master of Arts in Educational Administration from the University of California. She has experience in a wide variety of educational fields including general education, special education, and administration both at the district and school levels. Nannette currently holds Ohio teaching licenses for Biology, Social Psychology, and Learning Disabilities/Behavior Disorders. She currently provides oversight and technical assistance for federal title programs, including Title I, II-A, III, IV and School Improvement 1003 G. EMAIL
