About Me
Jennifer has worked in education since 2008 as a teacher, assistant principal and principal. She graduated Cum Laude from Bowling Green State University and began her career by joining a district team in rural Ohio as a third-grade teacher. After two years in this position, she decided to pursue her passion of working with urban youth and moved to Columbus, Ohio to join the charter school world as a fourth-grade teacher. She relocated to Cleveland, Ohio and taught third grade before becoming an assistant principal. Most recently, Jennifer was a principal in two different buildings in Cleveland. She has experience in leading, creating, or serving on teams to develop curriculum and pacing guides, PBIS and Restorative Justice plans, the Ohio Improvement Process and Plan, RTI and MTSS, Special Education Service plans, hiring and staff retention plans, and data analysis with goal setting aligned to the Local Report Card. Outside of work, Jennifer loves family and friend time, yoga, and being a mom.
