Director of School Improvement Porsche has worked professionally in public education since 2011 serving in various roles. She began her education career by becoming a Teach for America corps member, working as a kindergarten teacher for underserved and inadequately resourced public schools in St. Louis, Missouri. After relocating to Columbus, she taught 6th grade English Language Arts, served as the Data Director and Instructional Coach for a local community school, and worked as an Education Program Specialist for the Ohio Department of Education. Porsche currently holds an Ohio teaching license in Early Childhood (PK-3) and is an Ohio-approved trainer for Early Childhood Educators. Outside of her professional work, Porsche is an active member of the Columbus Urban League Young Professionals and spends much of her time serving in ministries at her church and parenting two young children whom she adores.
